Camp Information

In 1967, Jack and Chestine Fulbright purchased the land near Vonore, TN, upon which God's Mountain Retreat was built. Jack prayed to God for guidance on what to do with the land. Almost immediately, God spoke to him and told him to build a youth camp. From a wilderness to only a few rustic buildings in 1976 God's Mountain Retreat was established and opened to accommodate small church groups.   View some of Jack's testimony here.

Groups participating in Circle G mission activities stay at God’s Mountain Retreat.  This retreat was inspired by God to provide facilities and an environment to help churches rescue today's youth for the cause of Jesus Christ. It is a non-denominational camp nestled in the mountains of the Cherokee National Forest.  The creeks, plant life and wild life make it a perfect place to experience and appreciate the handiwork of God and his creation.  Please check the camp out on our Flickr page, or visit God's Mountain Retreat for more details.

Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain.
